To assist you in starting the process of competing, here are some helpful things for you to know.

Pick your category


Knowing what category you want to compete in is crucial as all of them have different criteria. We have physique categories, modeling categories, transformation challenges and obstacle course challenges

Your prep for your category will be very specific so it is best to know where you're headed so you can create your map for success!

register


Registering early has many benefits. It keeps you accountable and also helps with your planning process. The earlier you register, the more prizes the promoter can offer and the bigger the event can be.

Those who register early receive various emails leading up to the event with updates, reminders, discounts for tickets and more.

It is a bad idea to wait until the last minute to register.  You miss a lot of important info and don't give yourself the best chance to prepare and succeed.

Registration fees vary depending on the category

Bodybuilding, Figure, Fitness Model and REAL Beauty: Early Bird -$95 for your first category, $55 for second (optional); Late registration $120 for first category; $75 for second

REAL Deal:

Course ONLY - $60 early bird; $75 day of event

Course + Physique - $95 early bird; $120 late

Transformation Challenge: No entry fee, but you must have a REAL World Tour Membership $50

*All competitors must have a REAL World Tour Membership. This can be paid when you register for your event.

Tanning - Every competitor besides Transformation Challenge, REAL Deal Course ONLY and REAL Beauty require a "competition tan". A competition tan is a sprayed on tan specifically made to endure the hot competition lights. REAL Beauty competitors do also require a tan, but not as drastic as a "competition tan". REAL is partnered with Liquid Sun Rayz (www.liquidsunrayz.com) to provide our competitors with a great service at great prices.

nspiration camp


Nspiration Camps are REAL's series of competitor camps designed to help our competitors learn about REAL, competing, presentation and putting your best foot forward!

Camps are not required but suggested.  For more on camps, click here

suits, outfits, props etc


Depending on your category, you will need different clothing.

REAL Beauty: 2 piece bikini and a floor length dress (clear heels for bikini, any heels for dress)

Fitness Model: (Women) 2 piece bikini, Themewear (clear heels for bikini, any shoes/heels for Themewear)

                       (Men) swimwear (any style, but we prefer to see your physique), Themewear (no shoes for swimwear, can wear shoes for Themewear)

Figure: Traditional 2-piece figure suit and clear heels

Bodybuilding: Posing trunks, routine (whatever you decide to wear to accommodate your theme)

REAL Deal: Black shorts, sneakers (we will provide your shirts, sports bras for women if you prefer)

Transformation Challenge: Semi-casual outfit to wear onstage

*ALL competitors except REAL Deal need to bring black shorts, pants etc to wear during the athlete Meet and Greet

*Women: onstage, you are to wear clear heels.  There is no specific height for heels. Wear what best accentuates your physique
